Dear colleagues!

We as a representatives of Trot horse owners and horse breeders are really appreciate your support for many years of our Russian trot horses and our national race – Orlov race. The cooperation of our countries was very useful and helped to save trot horses in Russia. It is worth even say that we made a great step ahead together.
Commonwealth Trotting association of Russia was a representative of Russian Federation in Europe and in the world for many years. However, last two years there were many big mistakes, like the failure of French Trot program in Russia; no representative of Russia in European Championship of young drivers; the cancelation of Trot races during the Russian Federation President Prize and etc. These are the main reasons why our horse owners and breeders decided to organize new and efficient Trot union, which was established this year and which is called National Trot Union. About 90% of all Russian Trot horses’ owners and breeders became members of the new Union. We have already organized some Trot races on Russian hippodromes.
Unfortunately, because of incompetent work of Commonwealth Trotting association of Russia Mr. Viktor Shmidt – the winner of Russian championship of young riders this year will not be able to participate in European Championship of young riders, because they represented information too late.
Mr. Viktor has appealed to us and asked for support. He began his rider’s carrier at the age – 8 years old. When he was 14 years old, he began his professional carrier. He has participated in Russian Championship of young riders 7 times. He has made a new Russian record for 4 years Orlov horses – 2.01,2 in 2014. In his 18 years old, he has 144 performances in competitions, 27 wins. He was preparing for participation in European Championship of young riders during the whole year.
As a Russian trot society, we would like to ask you if it is possible and if it is allowed according to the rules to give him a chance and right to take part in European Championship of young riders as an independent representative out of betting classification.
